Buckland House Bed and Breakfast is located in the village of Ilketshall St Lawrence, midway between the picturesque market towns of
Bungay and
Halesworth.
The attractive Suffolk coast at Southwold is within easy reach, as are the Norfolk Broads (Beccles), the stunning views and array of birds and other wildlife at Minsmere , Dunwich Heath. The pretty village of Orford is also within the local area
Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are a short drive away. We are close to the Norfolk border and the historic city of Norwich is well worth a visit.
Nearer to home we have a Cider Farm next door with carp fishing lakes, and
St Peter's Brewery - which welcomes visitors - is only 3 miles away.
Although we don't provide evening meals, we are happy to recommend good restaurants & friendly pubs and we can also arrange transport if you want to enjoy their hospitality!
